LAGOS POLICE PARTNERS HEALTHCARE PRACTITIONERS TO LAUNCH FIRST AID TRAINING FOR FIRST RESPONDERS
The Lagos State Police Command has initiated a comprehensive first aid training program for traffic and patrol officers, aiming to enhance their ability to provide critical medical assistance at accident scenes. The training, which began today at the Area F Command in Ikeja, includes CPR and other essential first aid techniques.
This initiative is designed to equip officers with the skills needed to address emergencies, including accidents and injuries, effectively. The training will be rolled out to other area commands across the state in the coming weeks, reflecting the Lagos State Police Command’s dedication to improving public safety and the effectiveness of its officers.
Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Adegoke Fayoade, expressed gratitude to Magna Carta Health and the Governorās Office for providing the free training. He emphasized the command’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the capabilities of its officers in all necessary areas to better serve and protect the residents of Lagos.
“This project underscores our commitment to ensuring our officers are well-prepared to handle emergencies and provide immediate care to those in need,” CP Fayoade stated.
