To alleviate financial strain on state employees, the Lagos State Government has extended the flexible work plan for civil personnel.

The Head of Service, Bode Agoro, revealed this information in a statement on Friday. He stated that the project would start on June 3 and run until September 3.

He stated that the policy was approved by the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as a response to a previous order intended to mitigate the impact on public employees of the elimination of fuel subsidies.

ā€œMr. Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has magnanimously approved the extension of the Flexible Work Initiative for additional Three (3) Months with effect from 3rd June to 3rd September 2024,ā€ the statement partly read.
