KATE HENSHAW BLOWS HOT OVER OVER OLU JACOBS DEATH RUMOUR
Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, has faulted the actions of Nigerians who shared false information, claiming veteran actor Olu Jacobs was dead.
The rumours of Jacobs’ death had earlier spread online on Sunday without official confirmation.
Reacting to the news spreading on social media, Henshaw, who is also the Director of Communications for the Actors Guild of Nigeria, wrote on X.com, “How you people put up RIP posts about someone who is still alive, year in and year out, is very sickening.
“You do this to this great man and his family all the time! It is all shades of wrong! Stop, for goodness sake! Uncle Olu Jacobs is alive!”
Replying to an X.com user who had asked where the false information originated from, Henshaw stated that some individuals had started calling Olu Jacobs’ wife, Joke, over the incident.
FAMILY DISPEL OLU JACOBS’ DEATH RUMOURS, SAYS HE IS ALIVE AND WELL
“Who knows? And no one will bother to confirm? Imagine people calling Aunty Joke up and down! Haba!” she exclaimed.
It was earlier reported that a Nigerian columnist, Betty Irabor, similarly debunked the news of his death.
“Olu Jacob is well and alive. Please ignore all rumours of his passing. He is alive, please,” she said.
