
NNL: ABIA COMETS SACK 21 PLAYERS AHEAD OF NEW SEASON
Nigeria National League (NNL) club, Abia Comets, has parted ways with 21 players.
The Abia-based club disclosed this in a memo to the affected players.
The players sacked are Ikenna Enyinnaya, Somadina Onyemaobi, Onuoha Chukwudi, Kalu Onyekachi, Ayomide Tomoye, Jesam Uket, Justice Moses, Kozerzer Msooter Apa, Ikenna Johnson Ogu and Uche Marcus Uka.
Others are Amaobi Ifeanyichukwu, Benjamin ILuyomade, Onukwue Chinedu Micah, Hycent Olie, Nwachukwu Prince, John Otomewo, Eluwa Chinatu Israel, Oscar Nwimo, Okoro Uche Franklin, Nnanna Churchill Olowo and Ifeanyi Iroakazi.
Abia Warriors appreciated the players for their services to the club and wished them well in their future endeavours.
The affected players were also advised to pick up their clearance papers on request.
