PARIS 2024: CANADA FRIENDLY GOOD TEST FOR FALCONS – WALDRUM
Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, has said the friendly against Canada will put his team in good shape for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Waldrum’s side will face the current Olympics champions in a test game in Sevilla, Spain on Wednesday.
The American stated that he is looking forward to a difficult test against the North Americans.
“We are expecting a great game, the players have worked extremely hard, unfortunately few players came into the camp a little bit late but the level has been extremely high,” Waldrum told the Super Falcons Show.
“The players are focused and looking forward to the Olympics. The friendly will allow us work on a couple of things that we have practice so far in training.
“It will also help us see some players, to look for the best combinations ahead of our opening game against Brazil.
“I think everyone one is ready. The players are tired of playing against each other. They are ready to face a good team. We are all looking forward to the game against Canada.”
