DANTATA VISITS MAIDUGURI, GIFTS FLOOD VICTIMS N1.5 BILLION.
Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, an elderly statesman and business magnate, has given N1.5 billion to those affected by the flood that devastated areas of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state.
Dantata gave the gift on Tuesday while leading a group from Kano to Government House in Maiduguri.
He sent his sincere sympathies to the state’s populace, Governor Babagana Zulum, and the administration, especially to those who had lost loved ones to the flood.
Dantata, 96, laments the country’s economy’s decline and pleaded on the political elites to turn from their sins and fear Allah.
In addition, he prayed for unity and peace in both Borno State and all of Nigeria.

In response, Governor Zulum conveyed his sincere appreciation to Elder Stateman for his kind visit, recognizing that it acts as a strong symbol of hope and support in these difficult times.
“The people of Borno deeply appreciate this show of humanity by a 96-year-old to visit us. Let me say it, Our Baba has donated the sum of N1.5 billion to support the flood victims. May Allah bless and reward you with Aljannah. Mu gode, Baba,” Zulum said.
This comes after Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Dantata’s nephew, donated N1 billion to the flood victims.
