LEAVE NOW THAT YOU CAN OR MOVE TO A SAFER PLACE, NiDCOM ADVISES NIGERIANS IN LEBANON
The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) is hereby recommending Nigerians residing in Lebanon to consider leaving the country now that commercial planes are still operating, as they are concerned about the Israeli government’s attacks on Hezbollah and other parts of Lebanon.
We now advise them to be safe till the ceasefire is in place, even though information from the Nigerian community in Lebanon suggests that the majority of Nigerians have moved from the southern region and are now comparatively safe.
It is encouraging to hear that no Nigerian has experienced any accidents or injuries thus far, and we want to encourage them to stay safe as long as the battle lasts.
Nigerians should also get in touch with our Embassy in Lebanon for any essential advice pertaining to their safety. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is deeply concerned about the welfare and security of his country’s citizens.
