DAVIDO’S FATHER LAUNCHES NIGERIA’S BIGGEST POWER PLANT

Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, has revealed intentions to construct Nigeria’s biggest power plant.

Speaking during the Seventh Day Adventist General Conference Annual Council, Adeleke disclosed that almost 15% of Nigeria’s electricity is produced at his present power plant.

Adeleke’s business already makes a substantial contribution to the nation’s electricity supply.

According to him, he is working with Chinese engineering firms to finish the new power plant, which should be operational by January.

According to him, the 1,250MW power plant will be Nigeria’s largest thermal power plant.

“In Nigeria, I am in the electricity business; I own a power plant, and presently, I generate about 15% of the electricity needs for Nigeria. I have Chinese Engineering companies that work.

” I am building and almost completed in January by the grace of God my new power plant to be the biggest power plant in Nigeria. It is a 1,250MW power plant to become operational in January,” he said in part.
