An esteemed Islamic organisation, 1Ummah, is holding its annual Peace and Unity Convention(PUC) for the year 2024, at the Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.
This year’s event, taking place today 16th of November, 2024, with the theme, “Resilience and Recovery: The Role of Faith and Reliance in Navigating Crisis,” features the world-renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Ismail Menk, along with two other distinguished Islamic scholars, Dr. Yasir Qadhi and Sheikh Ammar AlShukry.
The event offers sessions tailored for all age groups, including workshops for teens and pre-teens, and provides facilities such as a crèche.
Organised since 2015, the annual gathering is highly regarded for promoting coexistence, family values, and Islamic knowledge in a global context.
1Ummah is an Islamic group that promotes unity and resilience within and beyond the Muslim community through educational programs, community outreach, and conventions.
