
ZULUM HONORS ADC WITH NEW RANK
Babagana Zulum, the governor of Borno State, has bestowed the new rank of Superintendent of Police upon Ashigar Kulbu, his assistant de camp.
The state capital of Maiduguri’s Government House hosted the decoration on Monday, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
The state commissioner of police, Yusufu Lawal, helped Zulum carry out the honor.
Deputy Superintendent of Police was Kulbu’s title prior to his promotion.
Zulum acknowledged the ADC’s hard work and dedication to duty and congratulated them on their promotion.
“I want to congratulate you on your new rank; this is undoubtedly the result of your hard work and dedication to your duty. Therefore, I urge you to continue serving the country dutifully”, the governor stated.
Deputy Governor Umar Usman Kadafur, Secretary to the Borno State Government Alhaji Bukar Tijani, and Head of Service Barr. Mallam Fannami were among the dignitaries who attended the ceremony. Senior government officials, Borno Police Command officers, Professor Usman Tar, the Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, and others were also in attendance.
