A trending video has captured the moment John Mahama mistakenly referred to Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu as the “President of Ghana” during his inauguration ceremony today, January 7.
Following Nana Akufo-Addo, Mahama, 65, has been formally sworn in as Ghana’s president.
Previously, Mahama served as president from July 2012 until January 2017, making this his second term in office.
After President John Evans Atta Mills passed away in July 2012, he took office for the first time. After serving out that term, Mahama went on to win the 2012 presidential election.
