CARLO ANCELOTTI TO STEP DOWN AS REAL MADRID COACH AT SEASON’S END
Carlo Ancelotti has made the decision to leave his role as head coach of Real Madrid at the conclusion of the current season, journalist Edu Pidal reported on Radioestadio Noche, aired on Onda Cero.
According to Pidal, Ancelotti, while content with his tenure at the club, has determined that his time at Real Madrid is coming to an end. Despite the team’s performance this season, Ancelotti’s resignation is planned regardless of the results. However, the experienced Italian coach does not intend to retire and is considering future opportunities outside of Spain. Notably, Ancelotti has ruled out the possibility of taking over the Brazil national team.
As speculation swirls about his successor, former Real Madrid player and current Bayer Leverkusen manager, Javi Alonso, is reportedly the favorite to take over the prestigious position next season.
