TikToker SeaKing, whose real name is Olumide Ogunsanwo, has been freed from police custody.

This report is according to Omoyele Sowore, editor of Sahara Reporters, on Monday.

Following comments made during a live session in December 2024, the social media star was arrested on charges of cyberbullying against Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

SeaKing was released from custody on Monday, according to Sowore, who has been spearheading requests for the TikToker’s release via X.

According to the former presidential contender, he signed the administrative bail.

“We are pleased to confirm that Olumide Ogunsanwo @seaking303 has been released from @PoliceNG custody after our prompt rejection of the initial bail condition requiring a Level 12 or 10 civil servant, resulting in a swift agreement and release on administrative bail, signed by me,” Sowore wrote, adding a photo of SeaKing in a car smiling.

Adeboye called for the internet personality’s release during his church’s February Holy Ghost service held at 3km by 3km auditorium, Simawa, Ogun State.

According to him, the TikToker was only fulfilling prophecy.

“God told us at the beginning of this year that mockers will be more active, they would become bolder, even hot,” said the RCCG leader.

“I heard that there was someone who lambasted me thoroughly because I asked my people to fast and pray for 100 days. I did not ask him to fast. I was only talking to my children.

“I was told that some people are so angry and they went and arrested him. Release him! He is fulfilling prophecy.”
