NEDU STEPS DOWN FROM THE HONEST BUNCH PODCAST AMID CONTROVERSY WITH VDM
As the controversy surrounding social commentator Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, continues to build, Nigerian radio personality Chinedu Emmanuel, commonly known as Nedu Wazobia, has resigned from The Honest Bunch Podcast.
The controversy started when reality personality Deeone said that VeryDarkMan was attracted to guys during an appearance on the Honest Bunch Podcast.
But rather than immediately answering the allegation, VeryDarkMan turned his attention to Nedu, disclosing private exchanges and levelling accusations against the ladies Nedu was allegedly seeing.
Nedu announced on Instagram that he was leaving the program as the scandal grew more widespread.
He mentioned the necessity to safeguard his family, his mental health, and the show’s integrity.
Nedu admitted in his formal statement that the amount of criticism, hostility, and accusations had taken a personal toll on him, but he was thankful for the experience and influence of The Honest Bunch Podcast.
He stressed that although he is still committed to promoting meaningful dialogue, taking a backseat was required to put an end to the negative connotations associated with his name.
