
ANGRY YOUTHS SET ONDO POLICE STATION ABLAZE OVER ALLEGED TORTURE OF MAN TO DEATH
Angry youths on Sunday set a police station ablaze in Ifon, the headquarters of the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
It was gathered that the aggrieved youths stormed the police station on Sunday, chased the officers on duty and razed the police post.
The youths were reportedly miffed as a result of the death of a man who was allegedly tortured to death in police custody.
As at the time of filing this report, the police in the state have not officially reacted to the incident but it was gathered that the commissioner of police in Ondo has visited the scene of the incident to ascertain the situation.
