May D, a Nigerian musician, has cautioned his followers against drawing comparisons between him and any of his peers, particularly Wizkid.
The “Soundtrack” crooner claims that he is a unique species that is impossible to compare.
“Don’t ever compare me to anyone in this industry again !! Especially wiz!! I’m a different breed! God’s baby,” he stated in a recent post on X.
Remember how May D once said that if Wizkid hadn’t had a falling out with his previous label, Square Records, he wouldn’t have been on his level.
After he signed with Square Records in 2011, May D became well-known. May D’s removal from the label was formally revealed in August 2012.
Prior to his dispute with his previous record company, the singer asserted that he was on par with Davido and Wizkid.
