
THERE IS HOPE FOR A FEMALE PRESIDENT, VP IN NIGERIA – DJ CUPPY
Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, is a well-known disc jockey in Nigeria who has voiced hope that the nation could elect a female president in the future.
According to her, Nigerian women may find encouragement in Namibia’s recent distinction as the first African nation to have both a female president and a female vice president.
“Namibia just made history,” Cuppy wrote in a statement posted on her X Twitter.
“Africa’s FIRST country with BOTH a female President AND female Vice President.
“Maybe there’s hope for Nigeria one day after all…”
DAILY POST reported that Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah was recently sworn in as Namibia’s first woman President, after winning elections last year.
