
PLATEAU: HEAVY RAINSTORM DESTROYS OVER 70 HOUSES
Significant damage was caused by a strong downpour that struck multiple settlements in Plateau State’s Langtang South Local Government Area.
In Mabudi, Sabon Gida, and other impacted localities, more than 70 homes and barns were damaged, with roofs blown off and multiple buildings falling.
The Plateau State Government was urged to provide quick help by the residents of these areas, who voiced concern about the destruction.
The local Emergency Management Committee has already visited the impacted houses, according to council chairman Hon. Nanfa Nbin, who also confirmed the occurrence.
