
2025 HAJJ: FCTA ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT OF MEDICAL SCREENING FOR INTENDING PILGRIMS
The Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has declared the start of its medical screening program for prospective pilgrims getting ready for the Hajj in 2025.
The required screening will be held at the Board’s Permanent Hajj Transit Camp in Bassan Jiwa, close to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, on Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13, 2025, according to a statement signed by Ahmed Saleh, the Board’s Chief Information Officer. Every day, the workout will start at 9:00 a.m.
On Saturday, April 12, pilgrims who are enrolled in the Hajj Savings Scheme (HSS), as well as those from the AMAC (Municipal), Bwari, and Kuje Area Councils, are expected to arrive.
Those from Abaji, Kwali, and Gwagwalada Area Councils, along with applicants from the Board’s Headquarters, are expected to report on Sunday, April 13.
The board recommended attendees arrive early at the location with their original payment receipts, adding that participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
