OBI CUBANA POSTS HEARTWARMING FAMILY PHOTOS WHILE RESPONDING TO CRITICISM OVER NEXT-OF-KIN CONTROVERSY INVOLVING HIS ADOPTED SON

Nigerian millionaire Obinna Iyiegbu has responded to the intense criticism he has received regarding his adoptive son’s next-of-kin situation.
According to Kemi Filani, Chidi, Obi Cubana’s adoptive son, claimed to be the billionaire’s heir.
In what appeared to be a subtle reaction to his post, Cubana, on Instagram, posted his biological son, Alex, declaring him the original next-of-kin.
Now, taking to his Instagram page to share photos of him and his sons, including his adopted son, from his 50th birthday party, Obi Cubana said we vibe, bond, cruise, and talk, but at the end of the day, all of us are next of kin.
“We vibe, we bond, we cruise, they talk! Last last, all of us na next-of-kin”.
His wife, Lush Eby, also spoke out about the controversy, expressing her surprise at how strangers on social media—people who have never met her—claim to know her life story. She pointed out how this platform often blames wives and mothers based on misguided assumptions and negativity. Unfazed by the drama, Ebele said she’s still enjoying the celebration of her husband’s 50th birthday, adding that the entire month is dedicated to honoring him.
At his 50th birthday party, Obi Cubana earned praise for publicly correcting his son after the boy behaved disrespectfully toward Peter Obi, the 2024 Labour Party presidential candidate. A viral video showed his son remaining seated while greeting the former governor, which prompted his father to immediately step in and correct him.
Back in 2023, Obi Cubana expressed pride in his son’s accomplishments, sharing photos and videos from his graduation. He praised his son for making him proud and stated that the son of an Odogwu will always be an Odogwu.
