ABIA REP OGAH REJECTS SUSPENSION BY ABURE-LED FACTION OF LABOUR PARTY
Amobi Ogah, the representative for Abia State’s Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has denied his alleged suspension from the Labour Party and maintained his unshakable devotion to Governor Alex Otti.
Otti and every member of the LP in the House of Representatives were recently suspended by the Julius Abure-led Labour Party group.
Ogah claimed Thursday that his allegiance to his state governor, Otti, would not be impacted by the indefinite ban imposed by Abure’s side, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Ogah described the suspension as a joke taken too far and a distraction sponsored by elements threatened by the new face of leadership in Abia State.
He stated, “I want to make it clear; the so-called suspension means absolutely nothing to me.”
He said that he has the mandate of the people, and his commitment to Otti and his transformational agenda in Abia remains unshakable.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his confidence in the governor’s leadership, saying that Otti has brought hope, accountability and progress to Abia.
“Gov. Alex Otti is the best thing that has happened to our state in decades. I am with him full time. Nobody can bully us out of this progressive movement. No amount of intimidation can stop the will of the people,” Ogah added.
Assuring his constituents of his dedication to his goal of providing efficient representation to the people of Isuikwuato and Umunneochi, the congressman urged them to maintain composure and concentrate.
