The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso, says the Nigerian economy is stable.
He made this known during a press briefing held after the 300th Monetary Policy Committee meeting on Tuesday.
According to him, investor confidence in the Nigerian economy has strengthened over the last eighteen months.
Addressing questions on how improved macroeconomic indicators are impacting the lives of Nigerians, Cardoso stated that investors avoid economically unstable environments. He emphasized that stability builds confidence, which attracts investment and fosters growth.
