KANO APC COMMENCES SCREENING OF HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ASPIRANTS

The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has begun screening aspirants seeking the party’s tickets for seats in the Kano State House of Assembly ahead of the upcoming primaries.
This was contained in a statement shared on May 11, 2026, by Yusuf Yahuza from the Office of the APC State Organising Secretary via his Facebook page.
According to the statement, the exercise underscores the party’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and internal democracy in selecting credible and competent candidates to represent the APC across various constituencies in Kano State.
The party reiterated its dedication to producing leaders who are people-oriented and capable of advancing legislative growth and democratic governance in the state.
It also called on all aspirants and their supporters to remain peaceful, united, and to show sportsmanship throughout the primary election process.
