Inec Gives 23 New Political Parties Certificate of RegistrationThe Independent National Electoral Commission has presented Certificates of Registration to 23 new political partiesPresentation of Certificates of Registration to the chairmen of the newly registered 23 Political Parties was done on Thursday by the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu at the Commission’s conference Hall, in Abuja.He assured that the commission will give equal treatment to all registered political parties.At presentation of certificates, Chairman, IPAC Muhammadu Lawal welcomed the newly political into the Inter-Party Adversary Council, IPACThe National Chairman of the African Action Congress, Sowore Omoleye on behalf of other political parties expressed gratitude to the commission on efforts to ensure their political participation.It would be recalled that INEC had on Tuesday announced registration of additional twenty three political parties leaving the total number of register political parties at ninety one, as forty more political Associations seek INEC registration.
