Following a poor start in the Bundesliga season, champions Bayern Munich have shortlisted Zinedine Zidane and Arsene Wenger as replacement for Niko Kovac. Since the departure of Jupp Heynckes in the summer, the Bavarians have struggled under Kovac in recent games.
The struggling giants have been win-less in the last four matches and were humiliated at home by visiting Borussia Mochengladbach by 3-0 last weekend.
The champions now lie in sixth position on the table, four points behind league leaders and the only unbeaten side, Borussia Dortmund. According to reports, the management of the club are running out of patience with Kovac who was impressive at Eintracht Frankfurkt.
German news media, have confirmed that Bayern are already making a shortlist for a possible replacements at the dug out.
Both Wenger and Zidane have been out of work since last season after stepping at their respective roles in Arsenal and Real Madrid. Former Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc is also thought to be on the list after leaving the French side since 2016
On the other hand, Zidane resigned as Los Blancos completed a treble in the Champions League in three seasons.
