Juliet Sunday scored the decisive goal in the 47th minute of the tightly contested encounter.
It was Rivers Angels’ third consecutive Aiteo Cup title and their eighth in nine years.
Rivers Angel dominated the opening exchanges and almost took the lead on 14 minutes when midfielder Vivian Ikechukwu dribbled past the Ibom Angels defence, only to see her shot cleared by Uju Amanda.
Rivers Angels’ Rofiat Sule hit the back of the net with her strike in the 16th minute but the effort was ruled out for offside.
Sule went on to force a save from goalkeeper Lucky Andy two minutes later.

River Angels took the two minutes after the break with Sunday sending blasting the ball into the net.
Glory Edet nearly equalised for Ibom Angels in the 57th minute but Chimaka Nnadozie produce a fine save to deny her.
