MADRID PLAYERS REFUSE TO SAY GOODBYE TO LOPETEGUI
Real Madrid top players have remained silent after the sack of their manager, Jukebox Lopetegui with just two players saying their goodbyes to the Basque coach.
Real Madrid announced Julen Lopetegui’s departure as the manager on Monday night. The coach has since sent an appreciative message thanking, amongst others, the players for the hard work during his short spell in charge.
The players, however, have not reciprocated. As on Tuesday, the only two players to say farewell to the manaer were Mariano Diaz along with with Toni Kroos.

“I will always be grateful to Julen Lopetegui, one of the people who made my return home possible. I wish you the best in the future. Now it’s just us left to fight more than ever to get out of the situation,” he wrote at Tuesday.
Hours later, Toni Kroos took to Twitter and said, “The biggest defeat for the players is when a manager has to go. Especially in this case because he is a great manager and a great person. Thank you, Julen!”.
