Desmond Oluwashola Elliot, popularly known as Desmond Elliot is an award-winning Nigerian actor and director who has starred in more than 200 movies and TV series. He won the best supporting actor award, in a drama at the 2nd Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and was nominated for the best-supporting-actor at the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards.
Born on the 4th of February 1974, Elliot’s acting carrier began when he was influenced by a friend. His early acting roles began from “Everyday People”, “One Too Much”, and “Sinners”.
In 2008, he co-produced and co-directed the film, “Reloaded” which received 3 nominations at the African Movie Academy Awards in 2009. In 2009 and 2010.
Elliot’s political journey began in September 2014, when he officially declared his intention to run for Lagos State House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress. He contested and won the Surulere Constituency in the 11 April 2015 Nigerian General Elections.
Elliot is married to Victoria Elliot and they have four children.
