The Nigerian Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a sergeant who destroyed a traveling student’s expensive phone.
In a video that went viral on social media, the sergeant who collected the phone of one if the students traveling in a bus, was seen lamenting over how the guy would be using a mobile device worth N250, 000 while he has a police officer who has been in service for 14 years uses ‘a-N15,000-phone’.
He was reported to have then collected the phone and smashed it.
However, the commissioner of police, Delta State, said the suspect has been arrested and now in police custody.
