Manchester City To Make £20 Million Bid For Alexis Sanchez In January
Manchester City will offer just £20m for Alexis Sanchez’s services in January, according to the Daily Mail
City failed to lure Sanchez to the Etihad this summer when a £70m move in August failed materialize.
But, with less than a year left on his contract at the Emirates, the Mail claim City will offer Arsenal a final chance to cash in on the Chile international when the window re-opens.
The Arsenal striker saw a late £60million deadline day move to City collapse when Arsenal failed to bring in a replacement in time, despite offering £92m for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar.
Arsenal staff and players have grown increasingly exasperated at the saga surrounding Sanchez, who has spoken out against the national media in Chile after he faced further criticism following his country’s 1-0 defeat to Bolivia on Tuesday.
The result leaves their World Cup qualifying chances in serious doubt.
