After a video surfaced of him partying with teammates in Dubai on the night of the Africa Cup of Nations, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang tested positive for COVID-19 upon landing in Cameroon for the tournament.

The 32-year-old must now isolate himself and is a serious doubt for Gabon’s first two matches, which take place on Monday against Comoros and four days later against Ghana.

Although it is unclear how Aubameyang came to be infected with the virus, he was seen in Dubai on a night out with Mario Lemina, who has also tested positive.
