O. A court has ordered Dr. Dre to pay nearly $300,000 in spousal support to his ex-wife Nicole Young per month. The music mogul and his ex-wife were both in court this week, according to legal records acquired by The Blast, to work out the details of how much temporary spousal support will be paid. Dr. Dre was ordered to pay his ex-wife $293,306 every month, which is due on the first of each month, according to the order. According to the court document obtained by The Blast, “[Dre] is ordered to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, beginning August 1, 2021,” Dre will pay a total of $3,519,672 per year until Nicole remarries or “enters into a new domestic partnership.” Nicole’s health insurance and other expenses, including “the expenses for the Malibu and Pacific Palisades houses,” are said to be Dr. Dre’s responsibility. The former couple, who were married for two and a half decades, are said to be in the middle of financial discussions, so this order could be temporary. Young filed for divorce from the hip-hop mogul in June following a 24-year marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause for their split.
