The headmistress of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Senior High School, Felicia Dankwaa has been suspended by the Ghana Education Services.

Video emerged on social media of pupil at the school who was suffering from ulcer passed away after he was neglected by the school’s authorities.

According to reports, the teachers at the school failed to attend to the student because they were afraid he was suffering from COVID19.

The video shows how students desperately tried but failed to help their colleague who was in pain.

After he passed away, the agitated students started demonstrating.

The headmistress’ vehicle was damaged and other school properties were also destroyed.

This has led to a public outcry with many blaming the staff of the school from neglecting their responsibility of helping the student
