GOV. SANWO-OLU VISITS MOBOLAJI JOHNSON ARENA STADIUM AHEAD OF THE AISHA BUHARI FOOTBALL CUP

The Lagos state governor, Gov. Sanwo-Olu, paid a visit to the Bolaji Johnson Arena Stadium in Onikan, Lagos, on Tuesday September 14 for inspection before the start of the Aisha Buhari Football Competition.

The governor, who is also the competition’s chairman, was accompanied by Mr. Anthony Adeboye, the Lagos Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Sports, AIG Garba Umar, the Nigeria Football Federation Security Committee, and Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, a member of the CAF Security Committee.

The competition, which was approved by FIFA just a few days ago, is set to begin on September 15th.

Nigeria, South Africa, Cameroon, Ghana, Mali, and Morocco are among the participants.
