The victim, Barakat Melojuekun is now secured in Abeokuta , the state capital in the custody of the wife of the Governor who has a pet project on such issues. Miss Melojuekun has reportedly refuted her recant saying that she was forced by the elders of the community to do the recant video. In a viral video that emerged last weekend, Melojuekun had accused the commissioner of sexual harassment which led to a suspension of Abudu-Balogun by the state government pending the outcome of investigations.
