According to his lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra is hopeful of success because he will appear before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja next week, according to Ifeanyi Ejiofor.

This was said by Ejiofor in a statement released on Friday morning following his customary visit to Kanu at the Department of State Services Headquarters.

During the visit, our conversations centered mostly on our final preparations for the legal struggle that will continue next week on the turf of the Federal High Court, Abuja Judicial Division, and on any following adjourned dates, if any,” he stated.

We pooled the results of our individual reflections on the most effective legal techniques to be implemented in the future, fine-tuned and harmonized them, and then distilled them into a single, conclusive, potent, and practicable formula. Onyendu’s court performances should be excellent, we believe. Onyendu himself is in a great mood.

Our conversations with him reassured him even more and boosted his will to keep on. On January 18th, 2022, I proclaim to you, Umuchineke, that Onyendu is fully prepared to appear in court. He is pulling for victory and understands that with Chukwuokike Abiama’s support, victory is a foregone conclusion.

“You will all notice an intriguing component in the harmonised workable formula we have developed with your eyes.” The critics of Onyendu would be thoroughly humbled and eternally humiliated.

Furthermore, Onyendu took advantage of the occasion provided by our visit to order us to warn his throngs of friends and followers.

“He tells those of them who intend to attend in court as a show of their unwavering support and commitment to him to maintain decorum, be respectful in their demeanor and comportment, avoid violence and aberrant behavior in any form, and speak with restraint.”

For our part, we have issued formal correspondence to responsible, sovereign, democratic states and other international institutions, urging the Nigerian government to warn uncouth and overzealous security agents.

“We can confidently state to you, Umuchineke, that those correspondences are receiving the attention they require.” At Onyendu’s next court appearance, we are hopeful that the excessive security agents’ behavior and general approach will have changed for the better.

For the umpteenth time, we boldly declare that Onyendu has committed no criminal offense. As a result, he must be discharged with no condition.

In these challenging times, we especially urge you, Umuchineke, to display tremendous understanding and fortitude. You must maintain your focus, tenacity, and resilience. Your unwavering spirit must never be disturbed, and your resolve must never be weakened.

At all times, you must maintain the peace and act in a dignified manner. You will undoubtedly taste the sweetness of success in the not-too-distant future. In your individual homes, joy and celebration will resound, while sorrow and groaning will take a permanent and unrelenting flight to the abyss.

“Onyendu sends his heartfelt gratitude and admiration to the millions of his admirers and followers all around the world.” He exhorts them to never lose hope and to cling to the one thing that matters most to them. With Chukwuokike Abiama’s assistance, the current preoccupation will soon pass, and victory and jubilation will be their lot. “

Although there has been no official statement about where and how Kanu was apprehended by INTERPOL in Kenya on June 27, 2021, his relatives and lawyers have described how he was taken into custody in Kenya under dubious circumstances and extradited to Nigeria, where he is currently facing terrorism charges before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
