The Families of Micheal Olubunmi Lawani and Taiyelolu Adelakun and Late Chief Isaac Aderemi and Olufemi Ogunade, joined their children Oluwatosin and Kehinde in holy matrimony on 21st August, 2021.

The three-in-one event which took place at the Anchor Events place in Ikeja, was a beehive of activities as families and friends turned out in style to Grace the occasion.

The engagement proceedings began in earnest when the Groom’s family led by Mr Yusuf AbdulRasheed, the mother of the groom, others made the first contact with their in-laws, Mr Micheal Olubunmi, wife and family.

The Mrs of Ceremonies were on hand to set the turn for commencement of the proceedings, ably supported by traditional drummers, who dished out very danceable music as the family of the groom made the move to state their case to the bride’s family (Parents). They were received very warmly.

Following almost in turn the groom Kehinde, and his friends, stormed the Arena dancing before he was asked to quickly prostrate in front of his parents and parents-in-law as they took turns in praying for him.

The entry of the bride Oluwatosin into the Arena, in company of her friends, while dancing to the music from the traditional drummers. She quickly paid home mage to her parents and parent-in-law, who also took turns in praying and blessing her new home.

The bride and groom cut their cake and exchanged rings before engaging in a long dance accompanied by their friends and family members.

If there was one thing that the event did not lack, it was prayers from all sides.

The Church wedding, which is the spiritual aspect of the formal joining of the couple, according to the in juncture of marriage in Christendom, was officiated by one of the Pastors in the Church that the bride attended, was a reflection of the deep Christian Marriage Value that the couple was expected to uphold in their marriage.

The union was sealed with the Exchange of vows, followed by prayers as they took their first steps into marriage hood, signing the marriage register, was the last seal of the relationship, and Kehinde and other friends joined as witnesses to the sealing of the marriage.

Oluwatosin and Kehinde, were presented with their marriage certificate at the end of everything.

It was indeed a new beginning for Oluwatosin and Kehinde, as they walked down the aisle, accompanied by the bridal train and groom’s men.

The reception took place in the same hall. The Coral, Peach and Cream color chosen by both families lit up the whole environment as different styles of the color competed for attention.

The Reception for Oluwatosin and Kehinde formally got in the way, with their majestic entry as they looked divinely made for each other accompanied by Aso-Ebi ladies, Men in Agbada and the Bridal Train .

With gladness and joy, they danced into the arena where everyone received them warmly with a standing ovation.

There was also enough to eat and drink as it always is in a typical Nigerian party as many of the guests conveyed their best wishes for Kehinde and his bride on the occasion, indicating that they were clearly intended for each other.

They also extended their congratulations to the newlyweds. It was indeed a memorable one for the couple
