The Lagos State Government is preparing to deploy a new set of security equipment through the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) in order to fight criminal elements head-on and protect lives and property in the state.

While reviewing the new patrol cars, LSSTF Executive Secretary Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun told Lagos Monitoring Team that the state government was committed to the security and safety of citizens and investors.

He stated that the government’s aim was to secure the state’s flanks as well as the inner city, particularly through providing key infrastructure to strengthen the state’s security architecture.

“Mr Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is acutely aware of the state’s security crisis and is prepared to supply crucial equipment to improve the state’s security agencies’ operations.

“We have tuned into this vision at the LSSTF as well, and we will continue to work assiduously to provide the enabling atmosphere and infrastructure that will allow people to go about their everyday activities without hindrance,” Balogun added.
