In a press release on sunday afternoon, the LMC stated that all five substitutions must be made in a maximum of three substitution opportunities. FULL STATEMENT RELEASED BELOW: New Substitution Rules – NPFL 2020/2021 Rules B13.41. In any league match a club may include a maximum of 9 substitute players in its team sheet. During the match, each team: may use a maximum of 5 substitutes;has a maximum of 3 substitution opportunities in the course of play, provided that where both teams make a substitution at the same time, this will count as a used substitution opportunity for each team;may additionally make substitutions at half-time B13.42. Not more than 5 substitute players of each club shall warm up at the same time on the perimeter of a pitch upon which a League Match is being played.
