By Adeniyi Onaara Nicki Minaj is apparently in talks with SALXCO, the management team behind Doja Cat and The Weeknd. Nicki Minaj is seeking for a new management team before entering her post-Queen period. As fans await Nicki’s next album, the rapper has reportedly parted ties with Irving Azoff, her previous manager at Full Stop Management, which also represents Lizzo and Roddy Ricch. Nicki’s resignation from the management team, which apparently occurred earlier this year, was verified by sources close to Variety. Nicki appears to be in negotiations with SALXCO, led by Wassim “Sal” Slaiby, to join their star-studded roster, which includes The Weeknd, Doja Cat, and recent arrivals Diddy and Swedish House Mafia (which explains the recently teased collab with The Weeknd). Nicki and Irving Azoff reconciled after a public argument on Queen Radio in 2018 during which she accused Azoff of contacting people in the media “to propagate nasty things about my tour.” She also referred to Azoff as a “cocksucker.” Despite this, they ironed out their differences and formed a team. Nicki Minaj hasn’t released a new album since Queen in 2018, but she did re-release her debut mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty earlier this year. In similar news, Nicki Minaj was recently accused of being an anti-vaxxer after saying that the vaccine made her cousin’s buddy impotent. As a result, she claims, her cousin’s acquaintance is no longer getting married.
