NIGERIAN AND CHELSEA’S VICTOR MOSES JOINS SPARTAK MOSCOW ON PERMANENT DEAL

Victor Moses has officially completed a move to Spartak Moscow on a permanent basis.

The transfer ends the winger’s nine-year Chelsea career and returns him to the Russian Premier League club, where he spent last season on loan and made 20 appearances.

The Nigerian international moved from Wigan Athletic to West London in the summer of 2012, completing his move only days after making his Premier League debut against us on the opening weekend of the season.

He vowed in his first interview as a Chelsea player that “there’s still more to come from me,” and he delivered on that promise throughout the years.

Moses scored 18 goals in 128 appearances with the Blues, helping them win the Premier League FA Cup and Europa League.

During his tenure with Chelsea, he had loan spells at Stoke, West Ham, Fenerbahce, and Inter Milan, in addition to Spartak. Moses participated in the 2014 and 2018 World Cups for Nigeria, scoring 12 goals in 37 appearances and helping the Super Eagles win
