By Adeniyi Onaara On Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Abeokuta, they were formally recognized as the Akinruyiwa and Yeye Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom. Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, two-term Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Titilayo Oseni Gomez, and royal fathers were among those who attended the ceremony. Traditional rites were performed at the Palace of Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu Amororo II, with Balogun of Owu Kingdom, Chief Obasanjo, presenting the newly installed chiefs with staff and certificates. The reception was held at the Park Inn by Radisson, where Rt. Hon. Gomez paid honor to the newly crowned Akinruyiwa and Yeye Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom. She labeled them as “exemplary leaders” who have demonstrated different personalities throughout their careers. In his remarks, Hon. Adebutu praised Chief Olumide Aderinokun for his humanitarian gesture and encouraged him to continue doing good for the people of Ogun Central Senatorial District. Hon. Toyin Amuzu, the founder of Toyin Amuzu Foundation, paid glowing tribute to the new Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom, describing Chief Aderinokun as a servant leader who is entirely committed to the service of humanity. In 2017, Coker and Aderinokun married. In 2019, they welcomed their first child together.
