Temiope Olatoye ‘Sugar’, the lawmaker representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives has been accused of masterminding numerous killings.

Sugar, who was the Action Democratic Party, ADP, Oyo Central Senatorial candidate, was shot in the eye on last Saturday during a clash with thugs in the Oyo State governorship election.

According to reports, Sugar schooled at the Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta, Ogun State in order to pursue his dream as a teacher. And later attended University of Ibadan, where he bagged a Master’s degree.

Shortly after his death, reports on several atrocities committed by him emerged, which might have possibly led to his death

According to a commentator, Sunny Olarotimi  the Baamofin of Egabaland, he said; sugar was a serial killer in Abeokuta, during the tenure of the former governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel. (O.G.D)

According to him, Sugar was made a supervisory councillor as a student at Federal College of Education Oshiele, at Odeda local government and during his  service, he killed a man in a broad day light  at Alogi bus-stop Obantoko, and also buried one of his victims at the back of his house in Oshiele, while he was protected by the then pollical leaders from being punished.

‘’Whenever he killed, he dismembered the corpse(s) and took them away ask anybody in Abeokuta, the community of FEC and indeed Ogun State cannot forget in a hurry the exploits this slain marksman’’ he added.

‘’Whoever kills by the sword shall surely die by it’’ he stated.

Also, an audio recording of someone, who claimed to be his landlady in Ashero Abeokuta, emerged.

The landlady popularly known as Iya Gideon, who was answering questions from a radio presenter on Sugar’s person while alive, expressed reservations on his conduct, stating specifically that his death “is the law of karma”.

According to her: “In fact, it’s the law of karma. It’s what one does that will eventually happen to the person. He killed many people. They say ‘a powerful man dies like a weakling’. His father [is] a Reverend. I [know] his father and mother.

“They wanted to burn down my house. He killed one fellow called ‘Bukky Boy’, a student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic. He tied the ‘Bukky Boy’ fellow to a car from Osiele to Egbeda. Before the Police got to the scene of the incident, the fellow had died. People get judgement in this life. Who would have thought that he would be killed like that with all the ‘orisa’ (spiritual protection) he had?”

However, she said she got many congratulatory calls from people over his death.

Recently, the police have arrested five suspects in connection with the killing of Temitope Olatoye
