WHAT IS NEXT FOR GAME OF THRONES STAR ACTORS?

After the Game of Thrones TV show came to an ‘unpopular end’ last Sunday, many fans have been expressing their dissatisfaction over how their favourite actors ‘ended’ in the series that lasted for about 10 years. No worries, as almost all of those actors who were relatively unknown before landing roles in GOT will soon be storming the TV screens in upcoming big Hollywood movies.

Sophie Turner who played Sansa Stark first appeared as Marvel comics Jean Grey in 2016’s “X-men: Apocalypse”. She is set to take the centre stage in the upcoming sequel, “Dark Phoenix”.

Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) plates the shape-shifting Wolfsbane in the X-men spin-off, “The New Mutants”. The movie which suffered major delays since it was shot two years ago is scheduled to be released on April 3, 2020.

Peter Drinklage (Tyrion Lannister) is no stranger to the X-men universe, having starred in “X-men: Days of Future Past”. The 3-time Emmy winner will be voicing two animated film sequels, “The Angry Birds” and “The Croods 2”.

Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) is teaming up with “Crazy Rich Asians” star, Henry Golding in the upcoming romantic-comedy, “Last Christmas”.

Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) has a role as an immigration officer in “The Flood with Lain Glen (sir Jorah) acting as her watchful boss. Lain is also playingthe role of Bruce Wayne in the season two of DC’s “Titans”.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister) and Carice van Houten (Melisandre) who never linked up in GOT will be starring alongside each other in the action thriller, Domino, which debuts in May 31, 2019.

Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy) will feature in two movies this year; Caitlin Moran’s novel adaptation, “How to Build a Girl” and “Jojo Rabbit”.

Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) will star in Hulu’s upcoming series “Four Weddings and a Funeral”, written by Mindy Kaling. She will also be voicing the new Netflix series, “The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance”.

Kit Harington (Jon Snow) has no project in the pipeline at the moment, according to imdb.
