Ogun state Embarks On New Health Scheme Project
The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, will on Monday 11th July, 2016, launch a new health scheme project called “Araya Scale Up”—the—project is a Community Based Health Insurance Scheme (CBHS), meant to provide affordable health care service to members of the public.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Babatunde Ipaye, in a release stated that the programme will be launched by the State Governor at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, by 12pm. He enjoined all Commissioners, Special Advisers, government functionaries and Permanent Secretaries of all Ministries, Departments and Agencies to be seated by 10am.
The release indicated that the scheme is also aimed at rendering good and qualitative health care services to the people of the state at reasonable and affordable cost that will give them the opportunity to access health care services for the whole year.
