The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has moved its National Legal Adviser, Dave Iorhemba, ‎to the office of the National Deputy Secretary.
This is coming barely two months to the PDP national convention and expiration of the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led national caretaker committee’s tenure‎ on December 16.
In a statement yesterday by the party’s spokesman, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, Makarfi also appointed a former National Legal Adviser of the party, Victor Kwon, as his personal adviser on legal affairs.
The party explained that the decision to re-assign Iorhemba to the office of deputy national secretary was because the caretaker committee was no longer pressured by legal matters since after ‎the apex court judgement of July 12.
“This clarification became necessary to correct misconceptions and contradictory narratives in some sections of the media,” the party said
