Saraki, Dogara, NASS leadership denied access into Aso Rock
Senate President Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara alongside other leaders of the National Assembly were on Thursday denied access into the presidential villa, Abuja.
They were scheduled to have a dinner with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Both leaders comprising those of the Green and Red chambers were being led to the dinner scheduled for 8:30pm by Senate President Bukola Saraki.
The lawmakers who all drove in bus were compelled to pass through the rigor of security checks when they got to the main gate of the presidential villa. Angered by the development, the lawmakers turned back in protest.
It was gathered that some of the security men at the gate were not polite to the lawmakers who also felt insulted.
