Super Eagles to fly special charter for Argentina friendly
he Super Eagles will fly a special chartered flight from Algeria for a pre-World Cup friendly against Lionel Messi-captained Argentina in Russia.
The match against Argentina will be played on November 14, four days after the inconsequential World Cup qualifier in Algeria.
“The Eagles will depart for Argentina from Algeria on a special chartered flight that will take the players and officials,” a top official said.
The Eagles are to train in Morocco for the matches against Algeria and Argentina.
It was reported that bar goalkeepers Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Dele Ajiboye coach Gernot Rohr will not pick players from the NPFL as the domestic championship has ended.
The Eagles squad for the two games will be announced this week.
