UNIOSUN Student Arrested Over Possession Of Gun & Other Weapons
The Osun State police command has arrested a 300 level student of Osun State University, (UNIOSUN), Osogbo, identified as Amao Adekunle for allegedly possessing a gun and other dangerous weapons.
We heard that Adekunle and another suspect Adeshina Olarewaju were caught with some foreign currencies.
Adekunle told newsmen when police paraded him alongside other suspects that he did not know anything about the gun, “I don’t know anything about the gun, cutlass and even money. Olarewaju is just area brother to me. Since my mum died in 2015, I have been in school. On that day, this brother called me and asked me to follow him to his in-law’s house.
“We were on our way when someone called him and asked him to come to an hotel, it was at that place we got arrested. Please help me, my career is ruined, I am innocent of this crime.”He pleaded
