Moses Opens Season’s EPL Goals Account, Hazard Stars As Chelsea Overrun Brighton

Super Eagles winger Victor Moses scored his league first goal of the season as Chelsea recorded an emphatic 4-0 Premier League win against Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Saturday
The hosts’ last victory against Chelsea was a 2-1 FA Cup win in 1933 and the win extended Chelsea’s unbeaten run against them to eight games
Eden Hazard clinically fired Chelsea ahead in the third minute.
The Belgian collected a deflected pass from Willian and took full advantage with an emphatic touch and right-footed finish from 12 yards.
Willian added the second three minutes later from a powerful shot.
Hazard, Michy  Batshuayi and Willian combined with a series of one-touch passes and flicks on the edge of the box, and the latter unleashed a  powerful 20-yard drive into the net.
Brighton were denied a penalty nine minutes before the break when Tiemoue Bakayoko  appeared to have brought down Ezequeil Scheletto.
The hosts started the second half on the strong foot and were denied a goal when Davy  Propper’s header hit the woodwork in the 50th minute.
Hazard netted Chelsea’s third of the game 11 minutes from time.
Willian, with a perfectly-weighted pass, picked up Hazard who fired home his eighth league goal for the season and II in all competitions.
And one minute before the end, Victor Moses deftly brought down Charly Musonda’s ball 0ver the top and coolly slotted home take Chelsea back to third place, level on points with second-place Manchester United who face Burnley away later on Saturday.
